An infamous tale, Sweeney Todd, an unjustly exiled barber, returns to 19th century London seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. The road to revenge leads Todd to Mrs. Lovett, a resourceful proprietress of a failing pie shop, above which he opens a new barber practice. Mrs. Lovett's luck sharply shifts when Todd's thirst for blood inspires the integration of an ingredient into her meat pies that has the people of London lining up, and the carnage has only just begun!

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Do I need to audition to be a part of the production(s)?
A. We do require an audition for all of our productions as we believe auditioning is an integral part of the learning experience. It also gives us the opportunity to learn more about you as an individual. However, we try our best to make the audition process as painless and as FUN as possible. We also strive to find ways to include as many performers as possible in each production and work very hard NOT to turn people away.
Q. I have some conflicts with the rehearsal dates. Will this affect my ability to participate?
A. A draft schedule for each show is typically posted on the website prior to auditions so you can check all potential conflicts. We typically allow 3-4 excused absences, but try to be flexible based on school commitments, etc. We list mandatory weeks, which are the last two weeks before the shows, and ask that all are present. Please be as honest as possible regarding conflicts on your audition sheet and/or speak to the Director if you have specific concerns. We always do our best to work around as much as we can if given enough notice.
Q. I am concerned about the registration fee. Do you offer payment plans or scholarship opportunities?
A. Payment plans are offered for all programs and fees are typically split into two or three payments to be paid every two weeks. Scholarship opportunities can be discussed. Email us for more information.
Q. Will I know what my role is before committing to the program?
A. The cast list will be shared shortly after auditions and/or callbacks. We ask at that time that you let us know as soon as possible if you will be accepting your role. If you have specific needs in terms of casting, please note this on your audition form. However, we encourage you to be open to all opportunities as there is always something to learn from each and every role and production.
Q. I am not sure if I want to be onstage this summer, but I would love the opportunity to help in another area such as costumes/set/props/other aspects of production? Is there a place for me?
A. Yes! Please visit our Work With Us page or email us at [email protected] for more information.
