Aspire PAC's weekly classes are designed to build on the skills needed to excel in musical theatre, including song and monologue performance, character development, improvisation, and audition techniques. These intensive experiences are the best way to get better fast.
Musical Theatre Dance

Musical Theatre Dance is a class sure to capture the heart of any student interested in the performing arts and being in the spotlight! In this course, students will learn strong technique in jazz fundamentals as well as choreography derived from various Broadway styles. This form of dance emphasizes performance skills such as connecting with an audience and acting through dance. The teacher will lead students through a center warm up including stretches, isolations, and core strengthening, followed by across the floor combinations. Each class with end with learning choreography from some of your favorite Broadway Musicals including Hairspray, Shrek, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, and more!

Instructor: Lauren Palmeri
Lauren holds a BFA in Theatre from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and has worked professionally as a performer for the past 10 years. She appeared in the first National Tour of Elf the Musical, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast National Tour (Belle cover), and regionally in Funny Girl, Tick Tick Boom, My Fair Lady, Carousel, Ragtime, Guys and Dolls, Anything Goes, and West Side Story. She most recently appeared as a headliner on a World Cruise with Princess Cruise Lines. Lauren has also been a teaching artist and choreographer for the NJPAC, MAYO PAC, Steps on Broadway, and Vanguard Theatre Company. https://www.laurenpalmerionline.com |
